Girls’ Varsity Tennis Defeats Masters Academy
On Thursday, March 2nd at 3:30 p.m. the girls’ varsity tennis team played against Master’s Academy. It was a successful day for the lady bucs because they won by a score of 4-3. It was a sunny day with a bit of wind. The girls were wearing white tennis skirts with their navy Benjamin tennis shirts.
London Allen, a freshman says, “I love being on this team and this match was so much fun! I play singles and this was my first singles match of the season. I won 6-0.”
Even though this team has been together for some time now, they are still working together, learning together, and growing together.
Lizzy Davis, a sophomore says, “I just moved to Florida and I did volleyball at the beginning of the year, but this team has really helped and I love making friends with them all.”
This team has a bright future and this game just shows it. They were successful and creative with their shots. Their next game is Tuesday, February 3rd, away at Martin County High School against Martin County at 3:30.
