The Pharcyde and ThePharcyte.com are excited to announce our first-ever Upper School Lip-Sync Battle. Hoping to add a dose of friendly competition to the school day, the event challenges advisories to create the most memorable, moving, and fantastic music videos since BTV overtook MTV in the SoFLo ratings game.

Within eeach grade, an advisory is challenged to select a song that first came out in the class year’s past. In other words, Class of ’24, songs from 24 years ago; Class of ’27, songs from 27 years ago. Songs should be school appropriate versions (edit those lyrics!) and video concepts should be BTV friendly.

Each entry must feature at least 6 members of an advisory group–advisors count as members.

Once you’ve filmed your video, send it to us at [email protected] for uploading to ThePharcyte.com. We’ll have voting for Best in the Grade before a school-wide winner is selected.

Entries are due by Friday, September 29th at 2:30pm.
