Coming from Jupiter High School to Benjamin was definitely a big change, but lacrosse has always been a huge part of my life, so I wanted to be somewhere that would push me and help me grow. Benjamin stood out right away. Winning back-to-back state championships in lacrosse isn’t something you see every day, and that really caught my attention. I wanted to be part of a program that takes things seriously and actually competes for titles every year.
Lacrosse has basically been my thing since I was a kid. It’s where I’ve made most of my closest friends, and it’s something I genuinely look forward to every day. When I realized how strong the culture was here, how the guys worked, how the coaches coached, how everyone bought in, it all made the decision way easier. I wanted to be around people who love the sport as much as I do. As soon as I got here, everyone made me feel like I’d been part of the team for years. The guys welcomed me right away, the coaches believed in me, and the whole environment just feels right. Playing this summer at a school tournament with the boys was awesome. I saw there that practices are competitive, but they’re fun because everyone’s trying to get better. It pushes you without stressing you out. I’m really happy I made the switch. On and off the field, Benjamin has been great for me. I love the school, the people, and especially the lacrosse program. It feels good to be somewhere that matches the kind of effort I want to bring. I’m excited to be here, and I want to help keep the winning streak going and contribute however I can.
