Lit performed in Benjamin’s play Here There Are Blueberries this fall.
“I started theater in 8th grade at the Benjamin Middle School. Previously, I was in the band, but my closest friend told me I should try theater. I already had stage fright, so the idea of speaking in front of a crowd was heavily nerve-racking, but I decided to give it a try. It was a large surprise to get the main role in the middle school play, Cooking Can Be Murder, but I loved it. After the musical at the middle school, I thought I would not do any acting again, but after encouragement from many of my teachers and peers, I found myself in Benjamin Hall, speaking directly to the crowd in Here There Are Blueberries. So my favorite memory in acting was the day my best friend and I walked on stage together for the first time in 8th grade.”
