“I have wanted to play soccer in college ever since I first started playing. I took the recruiting process seriously starting freshman year and got many looks starting then and continued to get more looks during my sophomore year until June 15th. Throughout that time I went to many ID camps for multiple colleges and showcases with my club team, the Palm Beach Gardens Predators. When June 15th finally came, I was up till 3 a.m texting coaches. It was so crazy, but also thrilling.

For a week, I had at least 3 calls a day with coaches from different colleges all telling me that I was their number-one recruit. They even started to plan official visits with me! All of the colleges I worked with wanted to take the process slow and make it as easy as possible for me.

Georgia, on the other hand, asked me to commit during the very first call I had with them on June 16th. I said I would get back to them on the offer within 48 hours to hear out my other offers, but within the first 24 hours I’d made up my mind. I loved how honest they were with me and the overall character of the coaching staff. I had always loved the campus and the program, but previously, I had wanted to go to UF. During my call with them [UF] though, they wanted me to commit later than I had planned so I started to think more seriously about Georgia.
In the end, I narrowed down around 15 schools to a top 5: Georgia, University of Miami, Florida, University of Alabama, and Texas Tech. Every offer I had was a full-ride and there were so many great aspects to each program. But, on June 17th, I officially committed to Georgia.
The well rounded nature, the location, the campus, and the culture were unparalleled for me. It truly is one of the most amazing schools I have ever been to. The recruiting process was definitely challenging to manage, but I am so happy with how everything turned out and so excited for the future.”
